EDDIE is a professional photographer, born in Worcester, Western Cape, South Africa. His love for photography started when he was a young boy at school. After school he joined the SAAF (South African Air Force) and qualified as an Air Photographer in 1972. He continued his studies and after another 4 years successfully completed the Higher National Diploma for Technicians in Electronic Engineering. Thereafter he started a new career at ISCOR (Iron & Steel Corporation) in their Automation department as a Hardware/Software Computer Technician. When digital photography was introduced, he immediately embarked upon this exciting journey by combining his knowledge of computer technology and photography. During 1999, he bought his first digital camera, the 1.3MP, Nikon Coolpix 900, in London at Grays of Westminster, an exclusive Nikon dealer. Since then, he grew with the expensive development of digital photography and upgraded his cameras regularly.

The only negative is that digital photography consumes much more time than film photography. You are only finished with your end product after your computer work has been done. But what an amazing end product!”
“Our equipment consists of the latest digital technology and we try our best to keep up to the latest developments. We exclusively use NIKON SLR Cameras, only NIKON lenses as well as NIKON electronic flashes. Combined with Nikon photographic equipment we use EPSON printers, scanners and viewers, ELINCHROM & SLS studio lighting, MANFROTTO tripods & stands etc. Adobe Photoshop, Nikon Capture NX, ProShow Producer & various other plug inns are used as our software editors”
”Our photos & enlargements are printed at our studio in FRANSCHHOEK, up to 1,118 meter wide, on fine art Photo Luster paper, Premium Satin canvas, as well as various other quality materials. We design our own Photo Books, Classic Albums & Exclusive Coffee Table books. Our Photo books as well as our Classic & Exclusive Coffee Table books are printed by Creative Albums in Somerset West. We also do roll-up banners at our studio which includes the photography, artwork, inkjet printing on vinyl 85cm x 200cm, assembling into a banner system with carry bag.
Studio photos and ID/Visa photos are taken at our Studio (FOTO ARTIST STUDIO, Treasure House, 3 Bordeaux Street, FRANSCHHOEK) only by appointment”
